The best Durham Personal Training Experience should continue with the same or initial exercises that’s introduced to the client.  It’s important to not switch the exercises too soon.  The reality is, if you don’t practice the technique often, it becomes difficult to become proficient.  Consider the work that you do for your profession.  If you change up the way you teach yourself a method to complete a task, will you learn any one method well enough to be competent in completing the task?  No!  It’s the same with exercise.

during the initial stages of working with clients, Patrick looks for opportunities to keep the session enjoyable?  One method is to keep the exercises the same, however, switch from having the client perform a specific number of reps to performing the exercises for a set time.  For example, instead of having the client do 15 repetitions, Patrick may ask the client to perform the exercise for 20 seconds.  The repetitions may not equal the same, however with timed exercises, the client may still fell a sense of accomplishment.
