WHAT IS SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING?

Personal and semi-private training have become very popular over the years.  When couples and friends want to work with a personal trainer, they are more likely to do semi-private training.  Semi-private training is when two or three people train with a personal trainer.  When it is two people, we call it partner training.   When it is three people, we call it trio training.  Both training options are excellent to consider when working with a certified personal trainer.  At YOUTRAINFITNESS®, partner training is more private.  You and your partner count as one party and there are no other guests present during our sessions.

SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING (PRIVATE PARTNER TRAINING)

DESCRIPTION: Grab a partner and bring an open mind to learn more about your potential to improve your health. Each training session will build on each other. Our aim for you is to make progress in all areas that we agree that you want to work on.

By training with a partner, or with a tribe (three people) our trio training, at times there may be competitiveness and other times there may be collaboration to achieve an exercise task together. Let’s make it happen! You’ll be glad you did!

Each session will be fun and challenging based on each person’s ability. If you and your partner are of different abilities, we recommend private personal training or private personal and partner training to start.  Let's talk!  Schedule a free consultation!

Clients who invest in private partner training sessions do best when they have had some training experience and are near the same fitness level.

What is the private personal and partner training hybrid training that you offer?


PRIVATE PERSONAL AND SEMI-PRIVATE (PARTNER) TRAINING HYBRID

DESCRIPTION: Periodically, two individuals want to train together, however their ability levels do not match.  One person may be new to exercising while the other person may be a former athlete and not a stranger to exercise.... and they want to be supportive of each other.

That's where the "private personal and partner training hybrid" comes in. This training program is similar to private partner training, however; you obtain the benefit of receiving 1:1 private personal training for 6 - 30-minute sessions (but actually get 60 minutes of the trainer's time) and private partner training for 6 - 45-minute sessions.

For the private personal and partner training hybrid to be effective, this type of training is only available when you invest in a 12 sessions pack.  See below for more details about the private personal and partner training hybrid.

6 – 30 MINS PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAININGS AND 6 – 45 MINS PRIVATE PARTNER TRAININGS (2 PEOPLE)

KEY POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN YOU COMBINE PRIVATE PERSONAL AND PARTNER TRAINING

  • Both training sessions are ideal for clients who want to share the cost and training experience together. Clients who invest in private personal and partner training sessions can be of different fitness levels without a great deal of training experience.
  • This works because both partners are present together for all sessions.  During the 30 minutes personal training sessions, partner A works with the personal trainer for 30 minutes.  At the same time, partner B does cardiovascular exercises on his/her own.  This may involve using body weight (jumping jacks, high knees, jumping rope etc) and/or machines (treadmill, elliptical, bicycle) for 30 minutes.  Partners switch.  Partner B now works with the personal trainer for 30 minutes while partner A does cardiovascular exercises on his/her own for 30 minutes.
  • The personal and semi-private training (private partner training) sessions give you  45 minutes – 60 minutes of the trainer’s time.
  • Because of the attention to detail and time necessary for developing each clients program, the minimum number of sessions required for this package is 12
  • After both partners complete the initial personal and semi-private training (private partner training) hybrid sessions, they may invest in regular partner training sessions.  They may also do the private personal and partner training hybrid sessions again to learn more individuals exercises.
