Individualized Exercise Guidance Based on You — Not a Generic Workout
Exercise is not one-size-fits-all.
As an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, Patrick Service, M.S. combines exercise science, professional experience, and individualized assessment to help determine how exercise can best fit your abilities, goals, needs, and circumstances.
Whether you’re returning to exercise, navigating specific physical or health considerations, using a GLP-1 medication, or simply want a more individualized approach, Exercise Physiology provides a professional starting point and a plan designed specifically for you.
You’re Not Paying for Just Another Workout
A workout can be found almost anywhere.
What is much harder to find is professional guidance that helps determine which exercise approach is appropriate for you, how it should be introduced, and how it should progress over time.
Exercise Physiology is built around that process.
Your investment includes professional assessment, individualized exercise programming, interpretation of findings, education, and ongoing program development based on how you respond to exercise.
With nearly 30 years of experience in fitness, physical education, and exercise physiology, Patrick brings an individualized, education-based approach to exercise programming.
You don’t need another workout—you need the right one.
Comprehensive Exercise Physiology Assessment
$275
Your assessment may include:
- Review of your health, exercise, and activity history
- Discussion of your goals, expectations, and exercise preferences
- Individualized fitness and functional assessment appropriate to your needs
- Evaluation of exercise-related considerations
- Professional review and interpretation of assessment findings
- Individualized exercise recommendations
- Development of your initial exercise program
- Education regarding appropriate exercise progression
- Recommendations for ongoing exercise support, when appropriate
The value of the assessment isn’t simply in performing tests or completing an appointment.
It is in putting the information together, interpreting what it means for you, and using it to develop an appropriate exercise strategy.
After your assessment, you’ll have:
- A clearer understanding of your current exercise capabilities
- A better understanding of how exercise can support your goals
- An individualized starting point
- An initial exercise program
- Guidance on how to progress appropriately
- A better understanding of when additional professional support may—or may not—be beneficial
Ongoing Exercise Physiology Support
Your needs may change as you progress.
Some individuals benefit from regular supervised exercise and instruction. Others are able to exercise independently and return periodically for professional review, reassessment, and program adjustments.
The goal isn’t to keep you dependent on an Exercise Physiologist.
The goal is to help you understand your exercise needs, develop an appropriate program, build confidence, and become increasingly capable of exercising independently when appropriate.
Choose the level of professional support that best fits your needs

Why 60 minutes is recommended
For most Exercise Physiology follow-ups, 60 minutes provides sufficient time to evaluate your response to exercise, discuss what’s working and what isn’t, make appropriate program adjustments, provide individualized exercise instruction, and—when appropriate—conduct supervised exercise.
It allows the session to be about more than simply getting through a workout.
The focus is on making your exercise program better.
Your Exercise Program Should Evolve With You
Exercise Physiology isn’t about keeping you dependent on a professional.
The goal is to help you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, develop an appropriate exercise program, build confidence, and become increasingly capable of exercising independently.
Some individuals may benefit from working with an Exercise Physiologist several times per week.
Others may benefit from professional guidance periodically while completing most of their exercise independently.
There is no single correct level of support.
Your Exercise Physiologist will help determine what level of guidance is appropriate based on your individual needs, progress, and goals.
You maintain the flexibility to choose how much professional support you need.
Who May Benefit From Exercise Physiology?

What Makes Exercise Physiology Different?
It’s More Than a Workout.
A workout can be found almost anywhere.
What is much harder to find is professional guidance that helps answer questions such as:
Where should I start?
What type of exercise is appropriate for me?
How much should I do?
What should I change if something isn’t working?
How should I progress?
When am I ready to exercise more independently?
That’s where Exercise Physiology can provide value.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience in fitness, physical education, and exercise physiology, Patrick Service, M.S., brings an individualized, education-based approach to exercise programming.
Your program isn’t based on what worked for someone else.
It’s based on you.
