Offering personal training only as a service is extremely beneficial, especially to our Executive Personal Training clients.  However, we wanted to ensure that all of our clients and participants would receive the best care. 

We did not stop there.  We incorporated yoga to enhance our participants Neuromotor Fitness A.K.A Functional Fitness Training (agility, balance, coordination, gait, and proprioceptive exercise training).  To further enhance our participants progress, we will add Tai chi soon.  At YOUTRAINFITNESS®, participating in personal training, yoga, and Tai chi (coming soon) will provide you with an excellent start for improving your Health span.

PERSONAL TRAINING FOR

  • Whether it's to improve performance in a specific sport or to learn how to navigate recovering from a life threatening disease (e.g. cancer), you are in good hands.  In addition to having the basic certification (i.e. American College of Sports Medicine [ACSM] Certified Personal Trainer) required to help clients get results, Patrick is also an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP).  A distinction reserved for exercise professionals who have have a degree or has completed an academic program focused on exercise science.  Specific to the two-condition specific training mentioned, Patrick holds a training certificate as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports medicine and a Cancer Exercise Specialist from ACSM.  Personal training with us, is for you!
  • As you learn more about training with us you will learn about Patrick's "EDUCERE"  For now just know that when you train with us we help (challenge) you to become the person you are supposed to be.  Once this is realized, there is no going back to mediocre.  Only progression to excellence.  You already have excellence in you.  Our aim is to draw it out.   • Avoiding injury should be at the top of your list when it comes to exercise with achieving the benefits of the exercise a close second.  Learning the proper technique is so essential for getting the best results and making sure that you are not setting your self up for injury by not performing the exercise properly.  For example, when performing any exercise, if you increase the weight and the intended muscle is not strong enough to support the movement, you may recruit help for other muscle groups.  When this happens, the focus is no longer on the intended muscle and two things can happen.  Injury or not fully strengthening the intended muscle.  Personal training with us, is for you!

  • When we train our clients, we start with where they are and progress them to where they are supposed to be and then some! We do this safely and systematically.  For example, a strength focused session doesn't start with strength exercises.  It starts with preparing the body for strength exercises to prevent injury.  Additionally, if the focus is to help a client achieve a specific result (e.g. fat loss) we discuss nutrition, sleep, rest, hydration and all things to consider for helping them to get started correctly when training with us.  Personal training with us, is for you!

The Precision Exercise Alignment Mat System, also known as the PEAMS® is a great system that allows you to identify your desired push-up hand-width with 100% accuracy GUARANTEED!

If you are using the mat to administer a push-up test, you can identify the participant’s shoulder-width position for hand placement on the mat with 100% accuracy for ANY pushups test.  Most importantly, when it’s time for future test, the hand placement will be the same as previous tests for 100% accuracy (watch a full video of this here).  We use this mat with our clients during personal training for push-ups and other exercises (check this exercise out) and they love it!  More exercises here!

LET'S KEEP EACH OTHER ACCOUNTABLE - TRY PARTNER TRAINING

Accountability is a major reason why many people sign-up for personal training to include partner training.  When there is no accountability, your progress may slow. When training with us, if you are doing partner training with a compatible partner or our personal and partner training hybrid with an incompatible partner, you are more likely to stick to your workouts.  We have a solid plan in place to ensure this!  Below are other reasons.

PARTNER TRAINING FOR

  • Are you the type who is likely to do an activity if some one is relying on you to show up?  Partner Training is for you!
  • When training with clients with different fitness levels, we offer a Personal and Partner Training Hybrid.  This package requires the purchase of 12 lessons for what it entails.  First we provide six 30 minutes personal training lessons to each participant so that we can identify what exercises will work best for you.  Once those lessons have occurred, we bring both partners together for six 45 minute lessons where both participants are able to perform the exercises that have been selected for their ability levels. This allows the remainder of the lessons to go smoothly because each partner will be able to perform each exercise with confidence.  If you and your partner's fitness levels vary, Personal and Partner training Hybrid is for you!
  • When training with clients with similar fitness levels and have had previous experience with exercise, we offer high quality partner training.  For cost savings, choose 12 lessons.  It is perfect, if you and your partner adapt to learning exercises easily.  In this scenario, each lesson begins with having a familiarity of what to do and taking less time perfecting the technique for doing each exercise.  If you and your partner are compatible and ready to go, high quality partner training is for you.

1-ON-1 Personal training is the gold standard for getting optimal results.  Partner Training is a great option for life partners and/or close friends to be supportive of each other for reaching a fitness goal.  When wanting to build a stronger tribe connection while preserving the exclusivity (your private tribe training experience) and quality of working with a personal trainer, we offer trio training.  This is not a group fitness class!  It’s ideal for persons who want the coaching that will help them to achieve the exercise results they desire, while working out with others who want the same.  Trio training comes with many benefits.  The reasons below are why it works!

TRIO TRAINING FOR

  • The community you build is priceless when it involves opportunities to focus on your health.  Whether you are doing trio training to improve your performance in a team sport with others or with a group of colleagues from work.  These experiences will create the opportunity to bond with others in ways that may lead to long lasting friendships.  That's why Trio Training is for you!
  • There is no doubt that competition with friends can lead to staying focus with making improvements based on your ability.  For example, choosing the resistance that's right for you and pushing through to complete a set.  When you are in control and know that others are training with you, you can propel yourself to experience success.  That success does not have be winning against others, the true success is in showing-up and showing-out to improve your health!  Trio training is for you!
  • If 1-on-1 personal training seems cost prohibitive (although its value is undeniable), trio training creates an opportunity to share the cost of training with others at a price point that gives you access to an exercise professional.
