DESCRIPTION: This invigorating morning flow class is designed to awaken your body and mind. We'll start with gentle warm-ups to prepare the body for a dynamic practice that blends flowing sequences with mindful holds. This class is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. As the sun rises, we'll cultivate a sense of energy and focus, leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

 

HATHA YOGA CLASS

LEVEL: This yoga class is suitable for beginner and intermediate participants

WHEN: 6:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays

INSTRUCTOR: Nirupama Shankar

DESCRIPTION: The session will include yoga postures and breathing that will unite and balance the Body, Breath and Mind connections. We will begin with gentle attention to the breath and a brief warm-up, moving on to postures or asanas - alternating gentle movement with sustained holds for the whole body. Modifications and options will be provided so that everyone can have a complete experience - whether a seasoned yoga practitioner, or a beginner. The session will conclude with a very brief relaxation, where participants can observe the quieting of the mind with intention.

 

MINDFUL YOGA

LEVEL: This class is perfect for those new to yoga or seeking a slower-paced practice.

DESCRIPTION: This beginner-friendly class focuses on building a strong foundation in yoga, emphasizing alignment and breath awareness. We'll explore basic yoga postures, or asanas, with modifications offered to accommodate different levels of flexibility and strength. Through gentle movements and mindful breathing, we'll cultivate a sense of calm and inner peace.

LEVEL: This class is best suited for those who are new to yoga, and excited to discover and build their yoga practice.

DESCRIPTION: This class will focus on traditional yoga practice, with basic asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), stretches and holds. An ideal introduction to yoga, this class will follow a gentler pace and focus on proper alignment and form.
